The developers responded to a user’s question on Twitter about crossplay for Dead Island 2 by stating, “No, cross-play is not supported in Dead Island 2.”

Nevertheless, Dead Island 2 allows players to engage in cross-generational gameplay within the same platform. To illustrate, Xbox One and Xbox Series X users have the opportunity to join forces.
