After the launch of Season 5 Reloaded in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, the developers of CoD have introduced a fresh update on September 6. This update includes multiple bug fixes, certain alterations to gameplay, and weapon adjustments, all designed to reshape the game’s meta.

GLOBAL

BUG FIXES

  • The issue that was preventing the unlock of the 9mm Daemon Akimbo attachment has been resolved. This fix will resolve the problem for Players who have not yet met the unlocking requirement. We are currently working on fixing the issue for Players who should have earned Akimbo but were unable to unlock it.
  • The inconsistency between Users and Platforms in showing the number of Operators has been resolved.
  • Resolved a problem where the Play Again button on PC would only work properly when right-clicked by the Player.
  • The problem with the Operator Graves Skin “Shadow 0-1” and “Shadow 0-1 BlackCell” has been resolved as they were indistinguishable.
  • The issue has been resolved where the 9mm Daemon could be unlocked by achieving headshots with any weapon, instead of only headshots with pistols.

WARZONE

WEAPONS

The weapon balancing adjustments mentioned below apply exclusively to Battle Royale modes.

“Battle Rifles”

  • Cronen Squall Close Damage has been reduced, as well as the Neck Damage Multiplier and Upper Torso Multiplier.

“Introducing: Light Machine Guns!”

  • The Close Damage of the RPK has been reduced, while its Close Damage Range has been increased. Additionally, the Head Damage Multiplier has been increased, but the Neck Damage Multiplier has been decreased. The Torso Damage Multipliers as well as the Limb Damage Multipliers have also been decreased.

GAMEPLAY

  • Precision Airstrikes in Armored Royale no longer have the same devastating effect on MRAPs, as their damage has been reduced. This means that MRAPs are no longer vulnerable to being destroyed with just one shot.

BUG FIXES
General

  • Various issues have been addressed and resolved to ensure accurate and complete information while utilizing COD Caster.
  • Addressed a problem on Vondel that had the potential to result in packet bursts, thereby diminishing game performance.
  • Addressed a problem at Zaya Observatory where various objects were prone to floating in mid-air.
  • Addressed a problem at Zaya Observatory where collision with a building was occasionally absent, potentially resulting in an exploitable situation.

Battle Royale

  • Addressed a problem in Armored Royale where a warning message for “Vehicle Under Attack” erroneously shows up when the squad’s MRAP sustains fall damage.
  • Resolved a bug that had the potential to hinder the proper display of the respawn user interface in Armored Royale.
  • Resolved a problem in Armored Royale Quads where the Resurgence respawn timer for the entire team would not decrease when a teammate left.
  • An issue was resolved where Armor Plates in Armored Royale would not reset from the Pre-Game Lobby once the match had commenced.
  • Resolved a problem where players were experiencing being redirected to the main menu when attempting to access the Customize tab’s Calling Card or Emblem sections.
  • I resolved a problem where Safecracker Contract safes had the potential to generate within obstacles at Zaya Observatory in Battle Royale.
  • Addressed a problem where Players could access the Sarrif Bay Black Site in Battle Royale without requiring a key.
  • Addressed a problem in Armored Royale mode where the MRAP’s “Use Turret” prompt had an excessive range, causing interference with Buy Stations and hindering the repair of rear tires.
  • An problem was resolved where the game mode placeholder appeared in the “Rotation Battle Royale” Quads Playlist.
  • The problem of Operators being able to overlap with each other when entering and exiting the MRAP turret in Armored Royale has been resolved.

DMZ

  • Addressed a problem where a SAM site located at Zaya Observatory had a tendency to spawn inside a nearby bus in the DMZ, causing clipping issues.
  • The problem of being unable to loot a gas canister in the bunker beneath Zaya Observatory has been resolved in DMZ.
  • Resolved a problem where selecting “View Weapon” while viewing a weapon’s progression through the insured weapon slot could result in the Player being unexpectedly redirected to the DMZ main menu.
  • Addressed a problem where the Faction Mission “Bounty” would not accurately track the execution of the Player with the Bounty in the DMZ.
  • Addressed a problem where Players were able to unintentionally remove Backpack slots by utilizing the stow feature while collecting a cache in the DMZ area.
  • An issue in DMZ has been resolved, which previously allowed the Player to have both Tier 3 and 4 of the Upgrades active at the same time. However, the Tier 4 Upgrades were unable to be completed.
