  • Passive: Instinct of the Assassin – Identify and reveal weakened enemies in close proximity. Enhance crouch walking speed and excel at scaling walls.
  • Tactical: Shadow Pounce allows you to unleash a forceful leap forward. Hold down the button to charge for greater distances.
  • The Ultimate ability, “Forged Shadows,” allows you to create a protective barrier of solidified shadows, effectively shielding you from incoming attacks. This barrier will regenerate itself once it is broken. Additionally, when you are knocked down, both your shadows and tactical abilities will be restored to their full potential.

  • The Elimination bonus is partially exempted from bonus withholding, as a result of disparities between MMR and LP. The extent of this exemption grows in proportion to the player’s MMR.

This adjustment aims to enhance the significance of eliminations in comparison to the revised placement scores.

Additionally, it has been stated that Banner Frames will take the place of Sky Dive Trails as ranked rewards starting from Season 18.

RESURRECTION MAP ROTATION

Public matchmaking in the Battle Royale mode will offer the availability of the following maps.

  • Broken Moon
  • Kings Canyon
  • Olympus

RING UPDATE

We have made targeted adjustments to ring behavior across maps in the BR, focusing on ring size, damage, and timings during different game phases. These changes aim to enhance the pacing of the early and mid game. Let’s take an in-depth look at these modifications.

  • Ring 1 now has a 10% increase in radius per map, which consequently leads to a surface area that is approximately 20% larger than before. All other ring sizes remain unaffected.
  • The damage of the second ring has been boosted from 3 per tick to 4 per tick, while the damage of the fourth ring has been decreased from 20 per tick to 15 per tick.
  • Changes in Timing:

    Round 1:
    – Preshrink time reduced from 90s to 75s.
    – Shrink speed on small maps reduced from 167 to 160.
    – Shrink speed on large maps reduced from approximately 180 to approximately 165.
    – Shrink time standardized to approximately 260s on each map.

    Round 2:
    – Preshrink time reduced from 165s to 120s.
    – Shrink speed reduced from 160 to 140.
    – Shrink time increased by approximately 25s per map.

    Round 3:
    – Preshrink time reduced from 135s to 90s.

    Round 4:
    – Preshrink time reduced from 105s to 90s.
    – Shrink speed reduced from 100 to 85.
    – Shrink time increased from 40s to approximately 50s.

    Round 5:
    – Preshrink time reduced from 90s to 75s.
    – Shrink speed reduced from 50 to 40.
    – Shrink time increased from 40s to 50s.

  • The maximum match length has been decreased. For small maps, it is now approximately 19.0 minutes, down from around 21.5 minutes. And for large maps, it is now approximately 20.0 minutes, down from around 22.5 minutes.

BALANCE UPDATES

Armor Changes

  • The required evo points for White to Blue have been raised to 200, previously it was 150. Additionally, the crafted evo points have also been increased to 200.
  • The overflow damage that has been fixed on level up will be carried over to the next tier.

Crafting Rotation

  • After exiting the crafter, Rampage and R-99 return to the floor.
  • The crafter is infiltrated by Nemesis and Mozambique armed with Hammerpoint Rounds.
  • Rotation no longer includes Double Tap Trigger and Hammerpoint Rounds.
  • Rotation now includes Boosted Loader and Disruptor Rounds.
  • The price of the medkit has been raised to 20, up from its previous cost of 15.

  • The Hemlok Burst AR has been reintroduced on the ground with increased ADS recoil. Additionally, the damage has been slightly reduced from 23 to 22, and the headshot multiplier has been decreased from 1.8 to 1.75.
  • The Prowler Burst PDW has been added to the care package. Its damage has been raised to 16 from its previous value of 15. Additionally, the Select Fire mode is now enabled by default, set to Full Auto.

Loot Spawn Changes

  • The spawn rate of Blue and Purple Weapon Attachments has been decreased by 20%.
  • There has been a 30% decrease in the spawn rate of Blue and Purple Armor.

Charge Rifle Rework

  • The latest advancements in ballistics and projectiles have led to the removal of hitscan and pre-fire laser systems. Instead, projectiles are now used, allowing for more realistic and immersive gameplay. Additionally, players now have the ability to pass through projectiles, with 80% of the damage being retained upon impact. Furthermore, this update also enables players to open doors within the game environment.
  • The damage of projectiles increases as they travel farther distances:
    At 50 meters, the damage is 75 points, and at 300 meters, it increases to 110 points.
  • The new charging mechanism allows you to increase the charge by holding down the trigger, and decrease the charge by releasing the trigger. The weapon will fire when the charge reaches 100%.
  • The Extended Sniper Mag attachment slot has been added with the following capacity: Base – 4 rounds, White – 5 rounds, Blue – 6 rounds, Purple/Gold – 8 rounds.
  • The ammo consumption per shot has been lowered to 1 from 2.
  • Adjusted timings for handling:
    – Tactical reload time decreased to 3.5 (previously 4.0)
    – Empty reload time decreased to 4.6 (previously 5.1)

The SMGs available in the game include the R-99, Alternator, CAR, and Volt.

  • The ADS strafe scale for strafe speed has been decreased to 0.75 from its previous value of 0.85.
  • The headshot multiplier has been decreased to 1.25 from its previous value of 1.5.

  • The ammo capacity has been decreased. The base ammo has been lowered to 17 from its previous value of 19. The White Mag now holds 20 rounds instead of 21, while the Blue Mag holds 23 rounds instead of 24. Additionally, the Purple/Gold Mag now accommodates 26 rounds instead of its previous capacity of 27.

Increases shield damage

  • The damage to the alternator shield has been amplified by a 20% increase.
  • The damage caused by each pellet from the Peacekeeper shield has been boosted by 25%.

Trigger for the EVA-8 and G7 Scout weapons that enables the firing of two rounds with a single pull.

Grenades

  • The outer radius of the Frag Grenade has been raised to 350 units from its previous value of 320 units. Additionally, the inner radius has also been increased to 125 units compared to its previous measurement of 96 units.

  • The class has been changed to Skirmisher from Assault.

Ultimate Cooldowns

  • In Bangalore, the Rolling Thunder will increase to 240s, with an additional 60s.
  • New time limit for Catalyst: Dark Veil is set at 150 seconds, with an additional 30 seconds (+30s).
  • Gibraltar’s Defensive Bombardment cooldown reduced to 180 seconds, a decrease of 90 seconds.
  • The time frame for the Horizon: Black Hole has been extended to the 210s, with an additional 30 seconds.
  • Loba’s Black Market Boutique now has a cooldown of 150 seconds, with an additional 30 seconds. Moreover, Ultimate Accelerants now provide a 25% boost to ultimate charge, increased from the previous 20%.
  • Mad Maggie’s Wrecking Ball now lasts for 120 seconds, with an additional 30 seconds.
  • The Pathfinder’s Zipline Gun now has a duration of 180 seconds, with an additional 60 seconds.

  • The Mixtape now includes Broken Moon Maps, featuring Production Yard and The Core. Additionally, multiple rat spots have been eliminated.

WORLD SYSTEMS

  • The exclusion radius that previously favored certain POIs for receiving Crafting Workbenches, Survey Beacons, and Ring Consoles has been eliminated. Now, all points of interest have an equal opportunity to obtain these objects.

MODES

  • The Control Capture Bonus bounty has been decreased by approximately 20%. The capture time has been shortened to 10 seconds from its previous duration of 20 seconds. Additionally, the score limit has been lowered to 1000 from the previous limit of 1250. Spawn waves have been eliminated, allowing players to instantly spawn at their chosen locations, including Home Base, Captured Points, and MRB (except for MRB, which will still require the use of dropships). Timed events such as Airdrops, MRB, and Capture Bonus will now begin approximately 30% earlier in the match.

BUG FIXES

  • The Game Mode button now functions while playing game modes.
  • The sizing and positioning of elements on the Switch’s communication wheel have been adjusted to create a more spacious layout.
  • The Consumables UI is now free from freezing issues when being used and while reviewing inventory.
  • In the Firing Range, when a Legend dies or exchanges Legends, the large healing items contained in a Golden Backpack will no longer be ejected from the player’s inventory.

  • Sometimes, the Fixed Support Bins experience issues that prevent them from offering Survival items such as Heat Shields or Mobile Respawn Beacons.
  • On 16:10 resolutions, the challenges no longer obstruct the view of the in-game map.
  • The spectating feature has been improved to allow players to properly observe the player who eliminated them, rather than focusing on the player who eliminated their teammates or finished them off while they were downed.
  • Getting stuck inside a Trident’s collision box is no longer possible for players.
  • When pinging Icarus Vault on the map, with the vault key in your inventory, you will not encounter a malformed string.
  • The Predator badge will now remain visible on the Champion screen without fading away.

  • When the Ballistic C.A.R SMG is transformed into a golden gun using light ammo in the sling, it no longer uses heavy ammo. Additionally, the Tempest ability no longer affects teammates if friendly fire is enabled in the Firing Range.
  • Voicemails from Pathfinders while inspecting Ash’s heirloom no longer appear stretched on 16:10 resolutions.
